We are a semi-retired couple who
left the convenience of the city
behind for the “simple Life” in
the Ozark Mountains. In 1996 we
settled into a very small
farmhouse on 85 acres bordering
the national forest.
Life suddenly became “not so
simple”. With out the city
conveniences, like picking up
the phone when we needed a
plumber, we were quickly forced
to learn “do-it-yourself”
skills. City life looked really
good at times.
We stuck it out and in 2002 we
used our new found talents and
built a cabin on the back of our
property.

Since moving to the Mountain
we’ve acquired a lot of animals
to feed, it has become a small
sanctuary.
The Gang
Thus, needing a little extra
income we thought we would do
the website thing and rent our
cabin. Making the cabin
available to people whom, like
us, enjoy a peaceful natural
setting.
It's been fun ever since. We have
met people from all over the
country, many are returning
customers.
For us it may not be a “simple
life” but there in no place we
would rather be.
